And when your little one decides 6am is a good wake up time for Sunday, you know you gotta find a play cafe pronto.

@harrowandharvestcafe is the place to be 💜 This cafe screams extra 💁🏻‍♀️ with every plate decorated to perfection. There’s even rose petals on the chai 🌹

Although much of the menu is sweet, these pulled pork corn fritters are the perfect level of savoury I needed this morning.

H&H is located in an old church in Lilydale and if you head through the main dining area past the roaring fire, you’ll find a gorgeous play area for the kids to go wild while you enjoy your brunch. Swipe to the last pic to see that this play area is just the right level of fun play without the bright, overstimulating colours of many play spaces.

Not my usual creation and still some imperfections but a fun cake created especially for my nieces 6th birthday 🥳

I told her about having a Barbie cake when I was a kid and she immediately wanted one! Being the bright ray of sunshine that she is, her favourite colour is rainbow 🌈 so here is my rainbow Barbie cake!

No, I wasn’t satisfied with a simple rainbow design on the dress, I had to make it a rainbow layer cake too 😍 swipe to see those tasty colourful layers 👉🏻

It’s been quite the year, but by far the best thing to happen has been the arrival of our beautiful son, Morgan 🧡

We left Britain and arrived in Australia in March, and found out we were expecting a little baby not long after.

Pregnancy was an interesting ride, featuring heartburn, backaches, nausea, insomnia and sciatica. When people say it’s a magical thing they obviously mean the concept, not the reality. It’s a challenge on the body and emotions that’s for sure!

At 42 weeks in the comfort of our home we welcomed our little Morgie into the world 👶🏻 and he arrived like his mum does - ready to eat! He’s a big healthy boy who knows exactly what he wants.

It’s been a challenging 4 weeks with sleep deprivation, a tongue tie, breastfeeding challenges and a very windy baby, but it’s worth it for those smiles 😍

Thank you for choosing us to be your parents Morgan 👨‍👩‍👧 you certainly test us daily, but we love you so much 🧡
